In Lebanon, while many post-war issues have been addressed, one persistent challenge remained: power cuts. For decades, this problem affected the entire country, including Zahle, a city far from Beirut, the capital. When ED, a private energy utility, stepped in to provide Zahle with uninterrupted 24/7 power supply, it became the only city in Lebanon free from power cuts. The citizens of Zahle were so proud of this transformative change that they eagerly volunteered to participate in the campaign without charge, showcasing their gratitude and enthusiasm for the newfound reliability and progress in their community.
